Cash For Clunkers Eligible Vehicles 2009

without comments

This list is based on the cash requirements for Clunkers program (officially known as the assistance to consumers to recycle and keep the law or cars), which was enacted on June 24, 2009, and the publication of regulations issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the July 24, 2009.

We have compiled this list Edmunds.com vehicle database for the investigation of models with an MPG of 18 mpg or less and for which at least one of the styles of this vehicle has a national average of real price value ® market (not adjusted for options, and assuming that the color or “clean” the vehicle and the average mileage of 12,000 per year) of $ 4,500 or less. It is therefore possible that some of the styles of a model in May were worth more than $ 4500, and the value of a vehicle may be higher, because it is in excellent or very low mileage.

This list also includes some work on large trucks and vans for which the EPA does not publish data MPG, and who are eligible for the program, regardless of their MPG. Note that almost all vehicles with model year 1989 or earlier on the market are worth less than $ 4500, and for this reason that we have not included in this list. The exceptions are low-end vehicles, such as 1984-86 Buick Regal Turbo T Type 1985 / 89 BMW 6 Series 635CSi, 1987-89, and the Porsche 911 Carrera – and most of the exotic and collector cars. If you have a vehicle model years 1984-89, please verify the eligibility of motor vehicles guide to determine if the vehicle meets the eligibility criteria.
